Miles Hurrell

Miles Hurrell is Chief Executive Officer of Fonterra Co-operative Group, a global dairy company owned by New Zealand dairy farmers.

He has held the role since 2018 and during that time led the Co-operative through a strategic reset. This has seen Fonterra focus on its strengths in New Zealand’s pasture-based milk, sustainability, and innovative dairy ingredients.

As a seasoned leader, Miles has over 25 years of experience steering complex global businesses. He has a proven track record of driving strategic transformation, fostering sustainable growth, and navigating regulatory and geopolitical challenges.

Under Miles’ leadership, Fonterra has been named Company of the Year at the Deloitte Top 200 Awards 2024 where Miles was also named CEO of the Year.  Most recently, Miles received the Leadership Award at the INFINZ Awards.
