CALLING ALL YOUNG LEADERS!

The Halberg Youth Council is on the lookout for passionate young leaders aged 18-21 with physical disabilities to join the movement for change. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact by helping shape the future of sport and recreation in New Zealand for young Kiwis with physical and visual impairments.

The Halberg Youth Council brings together driven individuals who are committed to making sport and recreation accessible for everyone. As a member, you’ll have the chance to participate in Halberg events, lead your own projects, and be an advocate for inclusive practices across the country. You’ll also gain valuable experience working alongside like-minded peers and industry professionals, all while championing a more inclusive and active society.

WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU!

Applications are open to young people from all over Aotearoa, with a special focus on those living in regions where we’re keen to increase representation. If you’re from Northland, Bay of Plenty, Taranaki/Manawatū/Whanganui, Wellington/Wairarapa, or Tasman, we especially want to hear from you. Your voice matters, and this is your chance to help bring positive change to your community.
