Halberg Foundation is pleased to announce the appointment of two new members to the Executive Board: Alice Mew and Michael Boggs.
Alice is an experienced investment professional who started her career at the Reserve Bank and, after 17 years working in London, now works for the NZ Super Fund investing in global private markets. Her other governance roles include Longroad Energy and University of Auckland Foundation.
Michael is the CEO of NZME with a strong commercial background and previous CFO experience at NZME and Tower. He has helped lead and guide businesses through challenging environments and digital transformation opportunities. His skill set is varied including financial, risk and organisational leadership and his governance roles include Rangatira Investments.
As Alice and Michael join the team, we also wish to acknowledge the significant contributions of our outgoing Chair, Carolyn Steele, and Deputy Chair, Kevin Malloy, both of whom are stepping down after nine years of service.
Halberg Chief Executive, Tom Smith said “Kevin and Carolyn are leaving Halberg Foundation in good shape, with a refreshed strategy, strong partnerships and a highly motivated team.
I look forward to working with incoming chair, George Bridgewater MNZM, who brings a range of elite sport, finance, and commercial experience to the Halberg chair role.”
