It is more beneficial for Halberg Foundation to receive general ‘no strings attached’ bequests as we can put your gift towards wherever the need is greatest for the families we support. But, if you’d like to gift towards a specific purpose, we will do our best to honour your request.
Can I make a gift that provides long- terms support for Halberg Foundation?
Yes. If you would like your gift to create a lasting impact, you may wish to consider a gift towards the Halberg Endowment Fund. Gifts made to the Fund help build a financial legacy that supports the Halberg Foundation’s work for future generations. Income generated by the Fund is used to assist physically disabled young people to access sport and recreation opportunities. Should I inform Halberg Foundation that I am leaving a gift in my Will?
This is completely up to you. However, if you do inform us of your gift we will be able to acknowledge and thank you in your life time and show you how your gift will be benefit the charity.
Will my gift be confidential?
Halberg Foundation will respect your privacy at all times and will not pass on any personal information and details to any external parties. All bequests are received and handled in the strictest confidence.
What if I change my mind about leaving a bequest?
No questions asked. Halberg Foundation respects your right to change your mind at any time. If you have already made a bequest, simply consult your lawyer who can review and change your Will to reflect your new circumstances and wishes.
