FUN, FRIENDSHIP, AND FESTIVITIES AT THE BAY OF PLENTY AMAZING RACE!

This past Saturday, the Redwoods came alive with energy, laughter, and friendly competition for the Bay of Plenty Amazing Race! Set amongst the stunning Rotorua Redwoods, the course would through scenic tracks filled with exciting challenges and activities for all ages and abilities.

It was fantastic to see so many people out and about, taking part in the adventure and enjoying the beautiful surroundings. The festival space was buzzing with music, connection, and plenty of smiles – a perfect place to relax, chat, and celebrate after tackling the course. From games and challenges to fun photo stops, it truly was a day where community spirit shone through.

A massive THANK YOU goes out to everyone who made the day possible – especially the incredible 50+ volunteers who helped run stations and support participants throughout the event. Your energy and enthusiasm made all the difference!

The Bay of Plenty Amazing Race was the perfect way to spend the weekend – connecting with others, discovering new activities, and celebrating inclusive sport and recreation. We can’t wait to do it all over again next year!
