A DAY TO CELEBRATE INCLUSIVITY IN THE BAY OF PLENTY
The forest came alive with energy, laughter, and inclusivity at the Amazing Race 2024 BOP event, hosted by Halberg and Parafed BOP! Despite a touch of rain, the day proved to be an incredible all-abilities adventure, uniting families, friends, and local organisations for a memorable experience. Participants enjoyed a variety of engaging activities designed to challenge, entertain, and bring people together. The picturesque family walk through the forest added a magical touch, allowing everyone to soak in the beauty of nature while sharing special moments.
The event’s turnout was phenomenal, and the feedback was nothing short of inspiring. One participant shared, “Great family fun. Loved it, we will be back again!” It was heartwarming to see the joy and connection the event brought to the community. This day wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible support of our partners, activity providers, and volunteers.
